The Person who Influences me the Most

Derrick Rose, a basketbal player for the Chicago Bulls, is a humble person who has high expectations for himself. He sets high goals and achieves them. On media day, where the press interviews all the players before the season starts, he said "why can't I be the best player?, why cant I be the league's Most Valuable Player, I work hard enough." That statement shocked the basketball world, comeing from a young quiet third year player that set high goals for himself that no one thought he would acomplish. He later said that he wasn't trying to come of as cocky or arrogant by saying he could be the best, it was just confidence in himself. I think that it was a bold statement to make and I look up to him for not only setting high goals, but actually acheiveing them. He speaks in a polite and humble manner and is always postive. I learn alot from watching, and listening to him. He tought me that if I put my mind to something I really want to achieve, I can accomplish it. Also, how to speak publicly by not sounding arrogant, but to sond proper and respectfull.
